Czechia to reopen hotels in May

The Czech government decided on Monday to allow hotels and boarding houses to accommodate guests after May 24, Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček said, Report informs.
The guests, who have been vaccinated against coronavirus or who have negative test certificates, as well as those who have recovered from COVID-19, can stay in Chech hotels without restrictions.
“The government has decided from next Monday, May 24, to fully remove the current restrictions on hotels, boarding houses, motels, and other enterprises involved in the accommodation of guests,” he said. “The only condition will be that all their guests are vaccinated, have a negative test result, or have recovered from the disease. They must provide [the hotel administration] with the appropriate certificates.”
The Czech Republic, with a population of 10.702 million, recorded 1,653,099 cases since the beginning of the pandemic. To date, 1,596,931 of the infected have recovered, and the death toll has reached 29,913.
